About Us:

Talent Advancement Group – TAG – was founded based on a need to help a few accounting clients find suitable executive staff. It sounds rather simple but fulfilling that need was a natural thing to do. TAG’s founder and Managing Partner, Joshua Rothman, worked his way through business school working as a recruiter and when he became Director of Human Resources for one of the largest accounting and financial management firms in Los Angeles he quickly set up an internal recruiting division not only to satisfy the staffing needs of his company but its clients as well.

Fast-forward several years and Josh is focused directly on the continued development of a dedicated staffing business, unique in its organization and philosophy. TAG’s primary emphasis is on placing the right candidate with the right client without becoming a “puppy mill” for the business world. TAG is sincere in this premise. TAG won’t work with businesses that don’t fit their niche and won’t work with candidates just for the sake of adding them to a database.

TAG takes a personal approach to the people that they work with, taking time to clearly understand what a client is looking for in a new employee as well as what a candidate needs in order to make a long-term commitment to a new employer… “Its not about simply finding a warm body and a place to put him or her” Josh has said, “rather it’s more like finding a soul mate. Both people have to ‘feel’ that it’s right.”
