EMPLOYEE PRIDE -

Listed below are some of the Employee PRIDE (Provide Respect, Incentives, career Development, and Education) programs which seek to improve the lives of NewCourtland Network employees, their families, the community and our seniors.

• Ladder of Opportunity - This program is the cornerstone of the Employee PRIDE program, as it provides any Network employee the opportunity to advance their education in the nursing field, from nursing assistant through graduate degrees, while providing assistance along every rung of the ladder.
• YOUrHOME – This employer-assisted home ownership program offers employees up to $3,000 towards closing costs of the purchase of a home.
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Offers confidential assistance for a variety of personal and professional concerns.
• Neighbor-to-Neighbor – This employee referral bonus program offers Network employees $1,000 for referring an RN or LPN who is hired, and $300 for any other hired positions within the NewCourtland Network.
• In Good Health - The goal of "In Good Health", NewCourtland's employee wellness program, is to empower all Network employees with the knowledge and skills to live healthier and more balanced lives through educational sessions, health fairs and group activities.
• Tuition reimbursement and loan forgiveness - Regular full-time and part-time employees who work 15 hours or more per week and who have completed 90 days of continuous employment, are eligible to apply for tuition assistance and can receive:
  • Up to $2,000 annually for full-time employees
  • Up to $1,000 annually for part-time employees

LADDER OF OPPORTUNITY -

The Ladder of Opportunity enables any NewCourtland Network employee to pursue their goal of joining the nursing profession. The Ladder provides training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a CNA Specialist – a distinction offered exclusively at NewCourtland; and provides scholarships, tuition reimbursement and stipends for employees to further their education to become Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Bachelors of Science in Nursing, (BSNs) or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSNs). Students enrolled in the Ladder receive support every step of the way, positioning them for career success.
