Duties:

Administer recruiting activities; oversee all hiring activities; participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems; assists with the preparation of the human resources operation budget; evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals; recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements; assists with contracting and managing outside vendors (employee services, recruitment services, advertising etc.); assist with management of leave process and compliance with all Federal and State laws as well as company policy and procedure; coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment; advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues; identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance; prepares employee separation notices and related documentation; represents organization at assigned personnel-related hearings and investigations (unemployment etc.); responds to inquiries and interpretation of company policies, procedures, and programs; monitors performance evaluation program and make recommendations for revisions to ensure effectiveness within organization; develops, coordinates and conducts HR portions of new employee orientation; oversees the process for record retention for personnel transactions and employee statistics for government reporting; assists with strategic planning and maintenance of human resources system; produce routine monthly HR reports for recruitment and HR metrics and develop new reports as necessary; other duties as requested by the Director, Human Resources.*


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred but may be substituted by extensive and specific on the job experience. Minimum 6-8 years progressive Human Resources experience. Experience in a healthcare/multi-location environment preferred. Demonstrated understanding of employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, performance management, and policy setting. Superior written and oral communication skills. Proficient in a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Office and HRIS applications. Strong oral and written communication skills. Organized and able to effectively manage many tasks simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance per company policy and procedure. Ability to travel to off-site locations.
