Job Description:  Title : Dining Services Aide Shift: early evening hours Reports to : Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor Supervises: Self Position Summary: Assist with all aspects of the dining room operations in accordance with company standards. Assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations. Other relevant duties as may be required or assigned by management. Routine Functions of the Position :
  • To help serve residents in dining room according to menu guidelines and individual resident needs
  • To ensure quality food when in dining room
  • Prepare dining room for meals
  • Keep all dining areas clean/maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • Set up and break down all equipment used
  • Care for residents at all times

  • Ability to work with immediate supervisor effectively
  • Ability to work in harmony with co-workers
  • Attendance at and participation in meetings
  • Able to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, and comprehend same.

Work environment:
  • Continuous standing (100%)
  • Walking (50%)
  • Lifting/carrying (40 lbs.)
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, and bending
  • Equipment Use : Warewashing machine, cleaning equipment/chemicals, walk in/reach in refridge/freezer
  Requirements   Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: Kitchen experience preferred.
  • Education: High School or GED
  • General: Must present a neat, clean appearance and demonstrate a positive, cheerful, attitude.
