Job Description:  About the Opportunity Wichita Specialty Hospital is a 26 bed JCAHO Accredited acute long term care hospital is searching for a Physical Therapist to complete the rehab team.! Wichita Specialty Hospital is dedicated to providing high quality care to the medically complex patient (ventilator dependent, wound care, post surgery, etc). Wichita Specialty Hospital is located at E Pawnee Wichita KS 67207 The staff physical therapist screens, evaluates and treats patients/residents; communicates with families, physicians and other health team members; and maintains documentation of services in the medical record. The PT also conducts inservices and training for faculty and staff on an ongoing basis in restorative techniques and supervises PTA's and Aides as required. Qualifications Qualified candidates must have graduated from an accredited program and possess (or be eligible for) a current PT license in the State where the facility is located. New Grads are welcome!
