Position Description

The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacists in all aspects of medication preparation for delivery to Suncoast Hospice patients and in all operational aspects of the pharmacy.

Core pharmacy services are provided Monday through Friday (8am - 8pm), Saturday (9am - 7pm), and Sunday (11am - 5pm).

Position Requirements

1. High school graduate (or GED).
2. Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician Program or at least 5-10 years of experience in hospital, home health care or long-term care pharmacy.
3. Basic computer skills including word processing and use of Windows operating systems.
4. Ability to organize and prioritize work.
5. Light lifting is required.
