Job Description:  Overview: Assists the Director of Facilities Management in maintaining major and minor equipment on a preventative schedule. Performs a variety of mechanical and general equipment maintenance repairs. Maintains logs and maintenance records.

Requirements: Maintains standard in performing facility repairs and preventative maintenance. Makes repairs on various mechanical equipment and systems including electrical, heating, and cooling. Inspects and cleans all air cooled condensers in small refrigeration units, air conditioning units and refrigerators. Maintains all major and minor equipment on a preventative schedule as directed. Determines work which cannot be performed by in-house maintenance staff and reports to the Director of Facilities Management. Performs a variety of tasks such as light plumbing, light carpentry, light electrical repairs, painting, picking up materials, outside ground work. Shows initiative and judgment and works rapidly under difficult or emergency conditions in making repairs.

Must have clean driving record for past 3 years.

Physical Requirements:
1. Possess physical stamina to remain standing, be able to stoop, bench, reach, and lift during work shift.
2. Possess physical stamina capable of lifting a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
3.Ability to communicate with employees and Residents.

Compensation: $14-$16.50/hr
