We are recruiting for a Senior Programmer Analyst – Web Design Team to join our growing team.  Candidate will integrate external or develop internal software solutions to corporate business problems as a team leader or sole developer. Candidate must possess the ability to participate in the overall strategy, analysis, design, and implementation of our clients' initiatives. This individual will develop and communicate the detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for a solution to the client and project team.

Essential Functions:
• Acts as or works with the project lead – in conjunction with project manager – to implement project specifications per project specifications.
• May lead a team of programmer/analysts to guide project meeting time and budget constraints.
• Works with software architect to design multi-tier software solutions to support requirements of project specifications.
• Works with Quality Assurance group to facilitate software tests for syntax or logic errors to assure quality.
• Works with end-user in evaluating requests for new or modified computer programs by determining feasibility and identifying current operating procedures and clarifying program objectives.
• Works with user or project architect to design the program functions by preparing technical documentation which may include: flowcharts, ER diagrams, Use Case diagrams, or pseudo-code that illustrates sequence of steps and logical operations involved.
• Works in conjunction with project architect in finalizing program technical documentation as described above.
• Works with Systems Integration Group in writing user documentation that describes installation and operating procedures.
• Works with Change Management group, project architect, Systems Integration Group, and users in installing and testing program(s), training users how to operate program(s), providing them technical assistance as needed.

   o Internal: Department Manager or Director (report to), corporate users, programmer analysts, project architects, project managers, and other IT groups.
   o External: Vendors

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education/ Learning Experience
   • Required: Associates degree in programming or 7 years relevant experience.
   • Desired: Bachelor's degree
• Work Experience
   • Required: At least 5 years programming and meaningful exposure to Full Life Cycle development and Change Management tools.
   • Desired: Basic management or supervisory, experience in healthcare and/or insurance applications.
• Skills/Knowledge
   • Required: C#VB.Net, Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server, experienced with application architecture in large system implementation projects.
   • Desired: Middleware (BizTalk), Sharepoint.
• Licenses/Certifications
   • Desired: Microsoft Certification
• Behavior Competencies
   • Required: Analytical reasoning, problem solving, communication, dependability, organization and planning, and customer service.
