  • Cleans and sterilizes durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, beds, oxygen equipment, mattresses and other related supplies. 

  • Packages and re-stocks equipment in warehouse.  Complies with federal, state, local and JCAHO regulations.

  • Complies with company policies and procedures.

  • Moves equipment from trucks to appropriate cleaning areas.

  • May assist delivery employees with the loading and unloading of equipment. 

  • Stocks and stores warehouse with equipment and supplies.

  • Ensures warehouse is maintained in an efficient, clean and safe manner.

  • Maintains cleaning logs in an accurate and efficient manner.

  • Tags, labels and assembles equipment.

  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.


  • Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required. 

  • At least one year related experience is required.

  • Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A. and JCAHO regulations.
