To learn more about our Home Care Company and becoming a part of our committed team of health care professionals, see us at www.chshomecare.netWorks as an integral part of the Hospice Team and under the supervision of the Volunteer Coordinator.  The most significant role of the Volunteer is as a support/enabler, assisting patients and their families to cope with and adjust to terminal illness.  The most important role of the volunteer is to be a good listener.
Experience: 

Must be dependable, responsible and committed to the Hospice philosophy of care.  Must have completed volunteer orientation and training as approved by the Hospice standards.  Must have own automobile liability insurance.

 

Licenses/Certificates: 

Driver's license,

 


Skills/Abilities:            

Able to communicate well verbally and in writing, problem solve, manage crisis situations, and effect change.

Able to travel to patient/family homes.

Able to document appropriate patient information
