Regional Director of Health Services (RN)

 
Silverado Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as the Regional Director of Health Services and oversee the clinical division of our California Assisted Living communities (as well as one community in Arizona and one in Utah).

Silverado is a long-term care company, providing award-winning dementia care. We are looking for a special RN who has a passion for gerontology and working with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairing diseases.  We offer the best of nursing care in an open, loving and stimulating environment.  Pets, children and social interaction are fundamental to providing dignity and life for our residents.

General responsibilities include…
  • Monitoring overall quality of nursing care, mentoring and training new nurses, and team leading for clinical teams within the division.
  • Regular travel to each community within the division to train new community directors or reinforce the Silverado approach to providing excellent care.
  • Stepping in and functioning as the Director of Health Services if the community lacks a director. This would involve ongoing travel to the location in need until the new director is in place.
 
Ideal Regional Director of Health Services candidate experience and background will include:
  • Registered Nurse (RN, BSN or MSN) with current state license
  • Proven success as a nursing leader, overseeing multiple locations.
  • Previous leadership experience in assisted living, rehab, subacute, geriatrics, skilled nursing, MDS coordination, or long-term care.
  • Road warrior with the ability to travel regularly.
  • Experience caring for frail elderly or dementia patients is desirable.
