Job Description:  Helps to prepare all types of food when needed while maintaining highest quality and standard. Does not sacrifice quality when working under pressure. Must be able to work prep, pantry and cook on the line.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

1. Basic knowledge in all facets of kitchen work.
2. Keen eye for details. Ability to follow recipe cards accurately.
3. Basic line cooking experience a must.

RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Executive Chef
(Sous Chef in the absence of the Executive Chef)

DUTIES
• Prepare cold food items: sandwiches, salads, sauces, desserts, etc.
• Stores all food items properly, rotating to avoid spoilage.
• Cook hot food as assigned.
• Work line as assigned.
• Puts away deliveries when necessary.
• Follows instructions on daily production sheets.
• Handles line cooking for any meal period of day dependent on schedule requirements.
• Maintains a safe, clean and sanitary work area.
• Follows and maintains all HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
