As Director of Nursing Services , you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest degree of quality care by planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and our internal policies and procedures. Other tasks in this role include developing/implementing a nursing service organization structure, determining the department's staffing needs and maintaining written policies/procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of nursing services. Additionally you will assist in the development of preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident, as well as developing methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total care regimen.

Position requirements include:

  • Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
  • Possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
  • Must be a strong team player with proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent verbal/written English communication skills are required.
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
