The Caregiver provides activity-focused resident care and implements a plan during his/her shift which consists of periods of rest for the resident, guidance in ADL's toileting schedule, physical activities, visitation, environmental adjustments and behavioral interventions. The chosen candidate will need to focus on the abilities of the resident, not limitations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating each resident's 24 hour plan to include recreation, ADLs, dining and other duties as assigned
  • Supports the resident's abilities by understanding that all aspects of care can be viewed as an activity
  • Participates in daily care meetings

We seek the following qualifications:

  • Arizona Caregiver Certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, high degree of service orientation, positive attitude and ability to multi task also required
  • Must be reliable, flexible, patient and compassionate
  • One year experience working in long term care preferred
  • Certified in CPR, First Aid and possess a Fingerprint Clearance Card
