Summary:
This is an exciting time to join Apria as we are growing our communications and marketing initiatives company wide. Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales and Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive field sales strategic and tactical communications platforms, and managing marketing communications initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
To excel in this role, you will bring solid strategic planning, writing skills, a strong sense of design and the ability to manage
a wide variety of projects in a fast paced environment. In addition, this position requires a creative thinker, innovator and self starter who will thrive in finding and creating opportunities.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership on all elements of Apria's field sales and marketing communications projects including transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with all Sales and Marketing initiative project managers to ensure consistent, aligned messages and communication across the organization.
  • Coordinate agendas, develop follow-up actions, ensure appropriate attendance, and manage meeting minutes for all Field Sales communications activities.
  • Provide recommendations for utilization of communications channels, platforms and employee networks in order to enhance corporate culture and to maximize associates' awareness, understanding, and support of the corporate vision and goals.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of Sales and Marketing meetings and events.
  • Manage the implementation of marketing communications projects including personal and non-personal promotional vehicles to support product strategies and objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in developing and executing Sales and Marketing communication strategies and tactics.
  • Education and experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required.
  • At least 8 years related work experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Outstanding skills in written and verbal communication, critical thinking and analysis, and problem solving.
  • Clear understanding of public relations, advertising and online strategies and tactics.
  • The exposure to video development and production is highly desirable.
