Dining Service Director

DINING SERVICE DIRECTOR POSITON SUMMARY:

This position calls for a mixture of creativity, skill, business sense, and enthusiasm. Managers are responsible for the operation of the dietary department in a skilled nursing facility setting, including budgeting, staffing, purchasing, preparation, delivery, and sanitation. Clinical record review and documentation required. The recipe: provide the highest standards of food service and nutrition using a positive team approach.

Knowledge of MDS, supervision, ordering & inventory control including cooking 2-3 shifts per week.

Requirements

Required Experience:

A background in long term care, health care kitchen management is preferred. This position calls for a mixture of creativity, skill, business sense, and enthusiasm

Required Education:

Must be a graduate from a Certified Dietary Mangers program approved by Dietary Manager Association or Registered Dietitian or R.D. eligible from an approved American Dietetic Association program.

Knowledge of MDS, supervision, ordering & inventory control including cooking 2-3 shifts per week.
