Job Description:  The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible to provide routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan; and as directed by the licensed nurse; assists residents in lifting; turning; moving; positioning walking and transporting to and from appointment; therapy and social programs; assists resident with hygiene; ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked; assists with meal preparation; serving and delivery; collects and disposes of all waste before leaving the residents room; recognizes and responds to emergency situations and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Certification:
Florida CNA License- Within 120 days.
CPR required.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
C N A Technical education preferred.

Experience:
Six months geriatric experience preferred.

Customer service skills.
Critical thinking.
Organizational skills.
Time management skills.
Computer skill appropriate to position.
