At Emeritus, you'll help to maintain the excellent service standards that have made us a leader in the assisted living industry. Essential Functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and assist with the storage, distribution and discontinuation of residents' oral medication(s)
  • Report observations to licensed nurse
  • Immediately report any change in resident's condition to the supervisor
  • Monitor vital signs as needed by personnel with current license/qualification (as required by state regulations)
  • Comply with the policies and procedures of Emeritus Assisted Living as outlined in the Wellness Policy and Procedures Manual
  • Document medications and other issues appropriately as outlined in the Wellness Policy and Procedure Manual
  • Document other issues appropriately as outlines in the Wellness Policy and Procedure Manual


Position requirements include:
• Licensed RN in good standing with State Licensing Authority
• Must possess Assisted Living Certificate for Case Manager Delegating Nurse
• Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
