Job Description:  United Hospice of Cobb, part of the UHS-Pruitt Corporation family of companies, has an opportunity for an On Call Registered Nurse in the Austell, GA area.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of patient care according to professional standards of nursing practice in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Implements nursing policies and procedures in accordance with the hospice philosophy and all state and federal regulations. Conducts screenings, admissions, education and on-call functions as assigned. Utilizes resources in an efficient and economic manner to ensure each patient achieves the highest practicable physical, mental, and social well-being. Performs any and all professional nursing duties as determined by qualifications and training.Details on the position: This full time, on-call nurse position would be on-call from 5 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. the following day. This would be a Monday-Friday position. The on-call would begin Monday evening at 5:00 p.m. and would be on call every night that week until 8:30 Saturday morning.
