Key Requirements: Excellent verbal communication skills, a high degree of service orientation and excellent work ethic. Must be available to be On Call.

Responsibilities include:

  • Training and supervise housekeeping staff; coordinating staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public spaces, residential apartments and grounds.
  • Using cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with the department guidelines and assuring compliance with local, state and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA and other relevant rules and regulations.
  • Coordinating annual deep cleaning programs for both apartments and common areas.
  • Scheduling the preparation of apartments for move-ins.
  • Conducting regular inspection of all areas, maintaining inventory control systems for all supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Scheduling and conducting training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
We seek the following qualifications:

* Ability to professionally represent Brookdale Senior Living
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
* Management experience required
* Housekeeping experience required
* Must have prior experience as a housekeeping supervisor of at least one year.
