Responsibilities include:

*Providing assistance with bathing, personal laundry, medication reminders, dressing and grooming as needed.
*Escorts residents both within the building and outside as needed.
*May accompany residents on shopping trips, medical appointments and other outings
*Provides emotional/social support to residents when needed
*Respects and encourages the independence and dignity of our residents

We seek the following qualifications:

*High School Diploma or (GED) preferred, but not required
*Six to eight months related experience preferred
*Experience working with the elderly and memory impaired
*Knowledge of Dementia particularly of the Alzheimer's type is helpful
