The LPN CHarge Nurse provides quality nursing care to residents, coordinating total nursing care for residents. Collaborates and works with the Administrator and/or Director of Resident Services to establish goals, develop and implement procedures and ensure the smooth, efficient and safe delivery of care and services to residents. Ensures compliance with all operating policies and procedures and Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. Ensures ongoing communication with supervisors, providing daily reports and other periodic reports. Performs all the duties of a Resident Care Assistant when required.

Basic Qualifications Experience A minimum of one year's experience in related nursing positions.

Education/Training Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current Pennsylvania license to practice as a licensed practical nurse.

Skill(s) Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and incompatibilities; decision-making skill; proficient assessment skills; minimal typing skills.
