Home Health Outreach Coordinator - Marketing Home Health Services
Brookdale Senior Living - Innovative Senior Care

The Home Health Outreach Coordinator is responsible for overall coordination of business development and education to patients, insurance companies, physicians, hospitals, nurses, community resources, other health care specialists and the local community to assure continuity of care, smooth interaction and communication between all involved in patient care activities. The ORC works in conjunction with the Director of Home Health Professional Services to develop and market Medicare Home Health services in the general community.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Visit and establish effective rapport with physicians, office staff, hospitals, insurance companies discharge planners and other referral sources.
  • Participates in external marketing. External marketing to include building relationships with referral sources, supporting marketing functions sponsored by the communities to engage in community networking, physician visits, and meeting with discharge planners as needed.
  • Must be Knowledgeable of Medicare Home Health
  • Must have extensive Medicare Home Healthcare background and selling skills

    Recommended Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate degree with a major in Community/Marketing/Public Realtions, and/or Licensed Nurse preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in home health
  • Must have experience in local home health marketing.
  • Familiar with health care reimbursement.
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques of effective written and verbal communications.
