Rydal Park, a Presby’s Inspired Life Community, located in Jenkintown PA is seeking a Full-time Director of Nursing.

 

Directs the operations and staff of the Nursing Department. Develops and maintains a comprehensive and high quality nurse's services program. Collaborates with the Administrator to establish annual goals and objectives which are designed to ensure quality care and which ensure compliance with various operating policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Health and CMS regulations and various other regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications Experience: A minimum of three years experience in nursing supervisory position is required. A minimum of five years of experience as a staff nurse is required.

Education/Training: Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current Pennsylvania license to practice as a registered nurse. Bachelors of Nursing degree is highly desired.

Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; basic computer skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; thorough knowledge of current federal and state regulations; knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and incompatibilities; decision-making skill; delegating skill; proficient assessment skills; demonstrated management and supervisory skills; auditory and visual skills; ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less.
