With our residents in mind, the right candidate will have:

  • Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions.

  • Follows the guidelines as outlined in the Resident Care Plan; assist residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.

  • Administers medications as required in compliance with state specific regulations pertaining to this position.

  • Observes residents for changes in physical and/or behavioral conditions and communicates them to the Health Services Director or supervisor.

  • Documents information pertaining to changes in residents’ functional status and/or personal needs.

  • Assists in the development and updating of each Resident Care Plan.

  • Assists with laundry and light housekeeping tasks as needed.

  • Assists with serving meals and bussing tables as needed.

  • Chaperones activities outside the community as needed.

  • Keeps the environment safe for residents.

  • Participates in and attend all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.

  • Other duties as assigned.
With our residents in mind, the right candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.

  • Certified in medication administration, per state licensing requirements.

  • Certified as Certified Nursing Assistant where required by state regulations.

  • First Aid and CPR certified.

  • Previous experience as a resident assistant/med tech.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
