Job Description:  Aseracare Hospice is one of the nationÂ*s premiere providers of hospice and palliative care services. We treat each of our patientÂ*s end-of-life journey with respect, kindness, compassion and support.

Our family-centered approach works to ensure that the needs and wishes of both our patients and their family members are met throughout the hospice experience. We provide a wide range of hospice care services that include physician, nursing, therapy, social work, counseling, personal and spiritual care.


JOB DESCRIPTION

To lead and direct the overall operations of the agency in accordance with customer needs, government regulations and Company policies, with focus on maintaining excellent care for the patients while achieving the agency's business objectives. Prior experience as an Executive Director highly preferred, must meet all federal and state regulatory requirements to function as the hospice administrator.


Â* BachelorÂ*s degree in business or related field and/or professional licensure in the field of nursing, human services or related field preferred.


Â* Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of business or clinical management experience, preferably in hospice or related health care field.

* Must have prior experience in budgeting, profit and loss management, billing and cash collections, reading and interpreting financial reports.

* Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience.

* Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience. Multi-site and multi-state experience preferred.

*Experience with payors including Medicare and Medicaid and managed care entities.

*Strong background in managed care contracting and delivery of service management preferred.

*Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*Must have access to reliable automobile that meets state and company regulations regarding automobile liability insurance coverage.

* Must have a valid driver's license.

*Must have basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software.

*Must be articulate and personable as well as be able to relate professionally and positively to residents, incoming visitors and associates at all levels.

*Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.

*Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement includes criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
