Job Description:  Position Purpose:
Provide individual, small group and consultative occupational therapy services to school age students with disabilities. Provide consultation, training, and educational programs to parents, administrators, and teachers of students with disabilities.



Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Master's preferred. 1-2 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy in a school setting, as well as experience working with students identified with an emotional disability and/or behavioral disorder.

Position Responsibilities:

" Provide direct therapy services to students on caseload.

" Plan, prepare, and document all student therapy services.

" Participate in student Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and service-related meetings.

" Perform Occupational Therapy assessments, evaluations, and report writing for student therapy services.

" Participate in parent, teacher, and/or administrator consultations, training, or educational presentations.

Licenses/Certifications: State and/or National Board Certification of Licensure in the area of Occupational Therapy; ability to attain Fingerprint Clearance through DPS
