Job Description:  The Personal Support Specialist (PSS) may provide hands-on personal care and services, which are necessary to maintain a client's health and well being in the home/community.  All care is provided in accordance with the client's individual plan of care, regulatory standards and Miles Home Health/Hospice policies and procedures.  Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess good organizational skills and a caring approach. Desire to serve others and care for the elderly population. Must have reliable transportation and a valid Maine Drivers License. Must be able to provide documentation of successfully completing a 40 hour BEAS approved training course at the time of hire or complete a 40 hour BEAS approved training course within six months of date of hire.  Must possess and demonstrate excellent customer service with both internal and external customers.  REQUIRED:  Please include your on-line resume and cover letter when completing the on-line application to be considered for this position.  This includes internal and external applications.  Incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
