Job Description:  AseraCare Hospice is one of the nationÂ*s premiere providers of hospice and palliative care services. We treat each of our patientÂ*s end-of-life journey with respect, kindness, compassion and support.

We provide a wide range of hospice care services that include physician, nursing, therapy, social work, counseling, personal and spiritual care.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Provides overall clinical management of the hospice care service office. Ensures the provision of home care services that reflect the company philosophy and standards of home care. Evaluates provision of services through quality assessment and improvement.



*Must be a registered nurse with a current state license.

*Must have a minimum of 3 years clinical experience in community health or in medical surgical nursing.

*Previous management experience required.

*Must demonstrate a commitment to the home-care philosophy of care.

*Must be able to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with other employees at all levels.

*Must have 24-hour access to a reliable automobile that is in compliance with all state and/or company insurance requirements.

*Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.

*Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test and pass post-employment physical exam if required.

*Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
