To learn more about our Home Care Company and becoming a part of our committed team of health care professionals, see us at www.chshomecare.net · Coordinates all patient care with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) · Renders professional nursing care to the Hospice patient · Observes professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding person, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of the organization. Must follow and enforce safety practices for patients and the organization. · Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action. · Must participate in safety instructional programs as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Position purpose statements are intended to describe the general nature of work to be performed and are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Management reserves the right to reassign duties as needed. Education/ Experience: At least two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse, and preferably one of the two years in an acute setting. Ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients and families in varied settings. Skilled in nursing practice and able to cope with family emotional stress and is tolerant of diverse lifestyles. Able to provide general nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. Licenses/Certificates: Possession of a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the state of California. Possession of reliable transportation, current driver's license and proof of current auto insurance. Current CPR card
