Overview:

Horizon Bay Reitrement Living is seeking a Regional Director of Health Services for our newly created Central Texas region.

 

 

 



What you would be doing:

  • Maintain resident care services and quality assurance standards

  • Develop and implement processes to manage risk

  • Improve quality and enhance wellness services

  • Assure that the outlined models of care and standards are met/maintained in a fiscally responsible manner

  • Serve as a resource to the regional and facility operating staff, providing clinical expertise in the areas of nursing procedures, nutrition, medication issues, state licensing requirements, and quality assurance

  • Provide support to the community Director of Wellness regarding financial management



What are we looking for:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a health related field

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a regional or area director role

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse and completion of a program accredited by the National League for Nursing in state of practice

  • Possess a current unencumbered State Registered Nurse license

  • Minimum of 3 years preferred in risk management with experience in AL/IL or skilled nursing

  • Knowledge of state, federal and local rules that govern assisted living facilities

  • CPHRM or ARM certifications encouraged
