Job Description: 

JOB TITLE: Concierge

 BASIC FUNCTION/DUTIES:

This position is responsible for creating a positive and welcoming environment for the Community:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support as needed through the direction of the Administrative Assistant
  • Perform public relations duties
  • Provide telephone response and directions as well as greetings to all residents and visitors
  • Provide an interface and communication between staff, residents and their families
  • Demonstrates a positive, respectful, and professional behavior in all job aspects
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of all resident and employee information
  • Provides high quality service
  • Honors residents' personal and property rights.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; must be cleared through DSS Criminal Record Clearance prior to initial presence in the community
  • 1-2 years practical secretarial or similar experience
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle constant interruptions
  • Must be highly organized and pay great attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a genuine interest and concern for older adults
  • Excellent communication skills in writing and verbally.
  • Outstanding customer service attitude and demeanor
