In conjunction with the Director/Administrator, is responsible to stay updated on new regulatory standards and implement, monitor and establish systems to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies. Responsibilities include marketing, public relations and establishing community relations. The Clinical Manager shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: a) Ensuring the development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including patient rights; b) Planning for and administering the managerial, operational, fiscal, and reporting components of the facility; c) Participating in the quality assurance program for patient care; d) Ensuring that all personnel are assigned duties based upon their education, training, competencies, and job descriptions; e) Ensuring the provision of staff orientation and staff education; and establishing and maintaining liaison relationships, communication. And integration with facility staff and services and with patients and their families, in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the facility. The Hospice Manager performs duties in accordance of and under the direction/supervision as defined by the Agency's organizational chart. Education: High School Diploma and a Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field required. A Masters Degree in Health Care or related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years Medical/Surgical, and/or Hospice experience. Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience in the home health and/or hospice field. Previous Supervisory experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates: RN or related Health Care Licensure in PA, Driver's License in PA and CPR required.
