Position Description

At Suncoast Hospice, our Psychosocial Team Leader provides support and leadership in the development of the residences, coordinating all team functions in support of the Leadership Team including Total Quality Management, Admissions, Program Development, and other activities as appropriate. The Psychosocial Team Leader is a qualified Social Worker  who is responsible for coordinating and evaluating the psychosocial component of care for the Interdisciplinary Team while working closely with the Residences Manager. The Psychosocial Team Leader is an active formal mentor and preceptor to new staff on the team, providing teaching, support and guidance.

Position Requirements

Master's Degree in Social Work Required
Three (3) years medical social work experience or related field.

Prefer two (2) years Hospice experience.

Licensed in the state of Florida required.
