SUMMARY : Responsible for measuring and improving clinical quality to achieve positive clinical and financial outcomes. The manager works collaboratively across all VNA departments to ensure agency compliance with State and Federal regulations, and accreditation standards. The manager assumes a leadership role in the integration and application of quality improvement philosophy, techniques, and tenets throughout the VNA. Coordinates role responsibilities with Staff Development and the Director of Quality and is accountable to the Director of Quality for aspects of regulatory role responsibilities, organization-wide quality initiatives and survey preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the states of MA and NH, five plus (5+) years experience in home health, supervisory experience, teaching experience. Experience in application of Quality methods, tools and approaches. Understanding and experience with quantitative and statistical methodology preferred. Bachelor’s of Nursing required. In depth understanding of home health care, Conditions of Participation, PPS, and OASIS. Ability to direct and educate adult learners. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Commitment to teamwork, collaboration and shared success. Computer skills and ability to use software, database and system applications.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees within the organization.
